Eagle Silent Print is a Chrome extension designed to provide silent thermal receipt printing for the Eagle POS system through a local native messaging host. This privacy policy explains what information the extension collects and how it is used.

All processing performed by the extension happens locally on the user’s device.

5. Storage Permission Usage

The extension uses the chrome.storage.local API for one single purpose: to remember the printer name selected by the user in the Eagle POS Settings page, so the correct printer is used automatically on the next session without the user having to re-select it.

• What is stored: the printer name string (e.g. POS-80 or 192.168.1.100).
• What is NOT stored: no personal data, no print content, no browsing history, no user identity.
• Where it lives: exclusively on the user's local device inside Chrome's sandboxed storage.
• Transmission: this data is never sent to any remote server.

6. Security

Because no personal information is collected or transmitted, the risk of exposure is minimal. All communication with the native host is local and secured by Chrome’s native messaging protocol.
